Philips manufactured valves, picture tubes, lamp globes and later semiconductors at the Hendon Plant in Adelaide. Before the Hendon facility was built valves were made in Sydney at the factory pictured here. I believe this picture is from the mid 1930's and this is from a leather bound photo album which I acquired a few years ago. The album contains images recording the steps in the valve manufacturing process and all of the support functions in the factory.
