Plessey 77 MkIV

During the early 1970's Plessey further developed the model 77 series. The 77 Mk IV was the first in the series to use a transistorised amplifier. Also there some minor changes such a tape spill edit function, Presage monitoring which is similar to the Sel-Sync function on Ampex machines, and colour coding of all controls. The date on the manual indicates that this model was available in 1973.
