Instruction ManualThe Cuemaster 756 made by Consolidated Electronic Industries of Melbourne is one of the 750 series of professional cartridge machines. This model is a mono replay only unit and the only reason it is in my collection is that it only cost me $5 and it allows me to play some carts I've had sitting on the shelf for years.
As you can see it has a minimum of operator controls, on the left is a mains rocker switch and on the right is a single push button which toggles the machine between Stop and Run modes. Looks simple but I'll bet that one switch for Start and Stop confused the odd DJ.
Apart from the program, remote control and mains connections on the rear panel the only thing of interest is the fast start switch, upper left, this when on keeps the capstan motor energised so that instantaneous starts can occur.
With the top cover off you can see the heads, the pinch roller solenoid and some of the electronics.
